White enamel dial with Arabic numerals; no inscription; letter "V" at each quarter hour, no second’s dial; beetle hour hand; poker minute hand (not original); blued.
Approximately 18 size movement; brass plates; steel balance; verge escapement; cock with solid foot and table, engraved; flat, sprungover blued balance spring; no jewels, bottomed hole in balance cock (plug); fusee;
Bosley-type regulator key wind from back, key set from front; pinned plates (missing two pins).
Silver or siver-plated pair case with high-domed bull's eye crystal; no decoration; the pendant is lenticular shape with an extended neck to simulate a repeater-type case; casemaker probably Luther Goddard.
This watch appears to be an early Luther Goddard in the original case. Serial #92.
