12” painted iron dial with Roman hour numerals, Arabic minute numerals and seconds bit. Moon phase and calendar disks. Floral decorations in the corners with golden detail. “Aaron Willard” in block lettering over number six.
Mahogany case with brass ball and spire finials. Pierced blind and open fretwork, brass stop fluted hood columns with brass capitals. Wide waist door with applied molding and cut corners has cross banding and checkered inlay: waist quarter columns have a light and dark candy stripe inlay and brass capitals. Double step molded base and ogee bracket feet. Case die stamped "S. Badlam" on upper edge of waist door, also "I.C." under hood and inside waist door.
Eight-day movement with brass plates and wheel, steel pinions and a recoil escapement. Seconds pendulum with wood rod and a brass-faced lead bob. Grooved winding drums and a rack and snail striking mechanism.
Possible glue blocking replacement on feet. Filled tin can weights.
